Founded in 2010, the AAOM-CAQ is an independent certifying body for certificates of additional qualification. The AAOM-CAQ was formed to provide a pathway for exceptional Osteopathic Physicians to earn and be certified in secondary medical specialties.
The AAOM-CAQ has identified three CAQ pathways that are currently under served and of great discussion in recent times. The first we look forward to is for opioid prescribing. The second will be a pain management CAQ that will be built upon the foundation of the opioid prescribing CAQ. Our third goal is a CAQ pathway in addiction medicine.
